It is rumoured to be a Hindi Movie remake of a Taiwanese film called 'Three Times'. The movie is about 'love' and how it remains unchanged while the relationships changes with time. Jai (Saif Ali Khan) and Meera (Deepika Padukone) are a modern couple living in London. They are very much in love with each other and strongly believe that love has to tie them down. When life takes them in different directions, they decide to let go and not tie themselves in a relationship. While in 1965, Veer fell in love with Harleen as soon as he saw her but never expressed his love. But he swore that in this life and the next, only she will be his wife.
