The September of 2010 is studded with some high intensity releases. The first week itself unleashes WE ARE FAMILY followed by Salmaan’s DABBANG on the 10TH, but the most intriguing build up happens to be associated with South Indian cinema’s idol Rajinikanth starrer ROBOT. Cast opposite her is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The most unusual pairing and the tag of ‘the most expensive Indian film till date’ have already done enough to attract attention. The script seems straight from the research labs of the world’s leading robo makers, and the setting is in India. Dr. Vasi creates a humanized robot Chitti with unbelievable technical make up in the form of colossal memory and processing power. Dr. Vasi is not satisfied with his exploits and does what has never been done before. He enhances his robot to stimulate human emotions in it. Alas! Just when Dr. Vasi thinks he has made the most remarkable invention for the society’s good, he realizes that he might just have gone a bit too far. His robot is now independent and equivalent to an ultra-powerful human being!

The presence of the superstar Rajinikanth and the timeless Aishwarya Rai is bound to attract audiences to the cinemas. The movie’s music has been composed by the master A.R. Rahman himself. ROBOT looks all set to create cinematic history.
