WE ARE FAMILY is slated to be released on 10th September. The Kajol and Kareena starrer movie is Bollywood’s version of the 1998 Hollywood hit STEP MOM. Arjun Rampal is in the male lead. The music has been composed by the trio of Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy. The playful version of Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock is already attracting a lot of attention on the T.V. screens these days.

The story is of a complex family. Kajol plays the role of Maya, a perfect mother. In spite of the fact that her husband has divorced her for his girlfriend, she fights all the odds and does not let any speck of gloom hit her children. Arjun Rampal plays the husband, Aman and Kareena Kapoor enacts the role of Shreya, Aman’s girlfriend. Some unforeseen circumstances force the two ladies to live under the same roof. Does the family fall apart in the time of crisis? How does Maya handle the precarious situation? What becomes of the children, too tender to take the complexities of their parents’ life? An answer to all these queries is what the script promises to provide.
