Abhishek seems to be getting lucky with one big project after another. After “Paa” he is on board Neeraj Pandey’s “Special Chabbis”. The film will be about a real life conman Mohan Singh. Abhishek will play the lead role as Mohan Singh in this movie.

Mohan Singh is a well known persona in the world of crime and deceit. Real name of Mohan Singh was never known but a man with this name booked himself in the posh Mumbai hotel before he committed the most daring robbery at Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri jewellery store at Opera House. He took 26 of his men to the store as income tax officers and robbed the jewellery off lakhs of rupees. This robbery took place in 1987 and he was in his mid 30s then. All that is known about this man was he hails from Uttar Pradesh.

Abhishek Bachchan is taking special classes to get his diction right for this role. Mumbai Mirror reports that Neeraj has cast Bachchan in this role as he is also in his mid 30s and hails from UP. Director Pandey told the newspaper: "I can’t deny that Abhishek is on board but I want to get some other key members of the cast in place before I make a formal announcement. The film requires 26 actors and I want to make sure all of them are just right for their part."

Neeraj’s Film ‘A Wednesday’ was widely popular among audiences and received well by the critic world around. He remade this film in Tamil too. So Neeraj, we are waiting to see what new you are again offering us through this new venture of yours.
