| Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar seems to be talking only about his latest movie, the not yet released, action-packed, BLUE?.
His personal blog is a mecca for the fans hungry to find new information on the subject, and points of view from the superstar. Akshay Kumar's last movies were nothing short of a Bollywood flop, and his expectations from this last feature movie are as high as ever.
With top cast appearing on Blue, Akshay Kumar should have no worries, but it's not the cast that he counts on. Everyone in the team making this movie are the best in their department and have come on the set of this Bollywood superproduction to make the best out of it. Producer Shree Ashtavinayak at Cine Vision Ltd. is said to have spent nothing shy of a fortune making this movie, with costs continuously increasing.

Akshay Kumar's Blue was directed by debutant Anthony D'Souza but the rest of the crew helped a lot balance the professionalism. D'Souza himself went on and asked some Hollywood friends for help. Who exactly? Non other than Pete Zuccarini from the well known series “Pirates of the Caribbean, a specialist in underwater filming and James Bomalick (Indiana Jones) to give a helping hand with the choreography of the action sequences.
And talking about action, I must say that Akshay Kumar is quite thrilled about his work on the stunts, saying it was the most demanding role who ever had to prepare for. But I guess appearance alongside co-stars like Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Lara Dutta, Katrina Kaif and Kylie Minogue (playing herself) is worth the effort.
Akshay Kumar, 42, is very proud of his more than 20 year old career as a movie star but gives the credit to Blue for being the most professional, expensive and dangerous production he ever stared in. |
