Every time he attempts different subjects he manages to score too well with the audiences and critics. After Fashion he is coming over again with ‘Jail’. This Film - shows the difficult condition of life behind Indian jails. It is thought to give an insight and grow awareness among common man. To promote the film that is about to release o the 6ht of November, Bhandarkar arrived with his cast on the floor of the Oberoi mall in Mumbai’s Goregaon. Neil Neitin Mukesh and Mudga Godse was definitely looking much relaxed and ready to face the journos and the fans around. They brought a complete jail like blitz to the mall with policemen and prisoners.
It was an unusual promotion for their forthcoming film at Mumbai. The film production invited volunteers from the mall to spend 2 days behind bars. It was set inside the mall premises where the volunteers have to spend 2 days in isolation. They will be debarred from talking to any friends and family. Most importantly they won’t be allowed to have any mobiles.
Neil Neitin Mukesh was definitely cheering the crowd and pointed out that it was easy. They had a Mc Donald’s and an air conditioned mall to accompany unlike in a jail. It was anyways a good promotion and the audiences reacted well.
Bhandarkar commented "It's a very educational film, it's a different concept and idea. It showcases today's problem of the country. That is why we have to get people over here and spread awareness about the film we are making,"
Bhadarkar also addressed his tiff with the Censor Board and assured that nothing major has been cut, and the audience will enjoy the movie to the fullest. |
