| Aamir Khan, the highest-paid actor of Bollywood, says that money doesn’t inspire him. Recently Amir stated in an interview that money doesn’t fascinate him. Amir said that for a certain time money does hold great importance for a person but eventually the value of money ceases. Amir Khan says that eventually man would need a house and two-three meals a day so even if he’s earning several crores, it won’t bring much difference in his life. Amir said that the urge to earn great amount of money is only in our heads but at the end of the day a man only needs it to fulfill his basic needs. But Amir Khan also said while money doesn’t inspire him, he won’t disrespect money or those people who are fascinated by it.
While most of the new comers of Bollywood believe in the mantra that ‘money matters’, Amir Khan’s take on money can inspire the new comers to focus on getting more from life than focusing on just making great money. Amir Khan has also inspired the directors for another thing which is now becoming a growing trend in Bollywood. That is, ‘focus screenings’ of the films. Amir Khan screened Ghajni to a focus audience to get their feedback before the release of the movie. The director can hence get great feedback from the audience and make adjustments/editions in the film accordingly. Surely, this idea proved to be successful in the case of Ghajni. Next we saw it being practiced by ‘Kaminey’ director and now by the director of ‘I Hate Luv Stories’. Both the directors say that the ‘focus audience screening’ helped them improving the film and helped them making it better. All thanks to Amir Khan, right? |
