After much speculation about  tensions brewing between Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, it is finally confirmed that they are splitting for good. Reportedly he real reason behind the split has been Ranbir's flirtatious attitude and Deepika's over possessive nature.

Time and again it was predicted that Deepika was never really secure with Ranbir’s flirtatious attitude and charming nature towards different women and heroines in his films. Deepika frequently landed on the sets to inspect, recently to Bhopal, on the sets of Rajneeti where Katrina and Ranbir were shooting together. After two weeks, the gap between their relations was undoubtedly bigger than ever. So it was apparent that their attitude has finally paid its price.

Though many were speculating about Ranbir’s chemistry with Katrina in the film Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani, she is really not the reason behind this break up. Close sources have revealed that Deepika has severed ties with Yuvraj Singh and Nihar Pandya in order to give 100% to her relation with Ranbir, but Ranbir was refusing to let go his early flings with Nandita Mahtani. Besides Ranbir has always been very popular with the fairer sex and his less than innocent encounters with women added the final blow. Common friends were frequently dropping news of Ranbir’s attitude which added that extra zing.

Finally Deepika decided to call it off and give Ranbir his space that he demanded. The break was widely apparent in socialite Shabina’s birthday party where the two sat on complete different corners. Ma Kapoor, Neetu Singh has not really given any comment. It seems that she his happy with whatever her son decides for his future.
